This has been our motto for the past two years now, and it may be for a couple more years.
In Philippians it says:
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Because of this, we too want to be straining forward, or Moving Up, towards the goal that Jesus Christ has set before us. The imagery of moving up or climbing a mountain depicts a journey that is filled with sweat, weariness, aching muscles, and frustration along the way, but a reward of reaching the top, of reaching the view and taking in the vista, and, in a sense, conquering the mountain.
